A Holocaust survivor has hit out at Joe Rogan after the podcaster shared a video using footage of the Holocaust alongside a voiceover where he was speaking out against requirements for Covid-19 vaccination proof. You can watch the response here:

Gidon Lev, 86, addressed Rogan directly and told him that he felt 'shocked' by his 'lack of sensitivity' and demanded an apology.

In the viral clip, which Mr Lev shared on his TikTok channel, he said: "Mr Joe Rogan, I'm sorry I have to read this. I am an 86-year-old-survivor of the Holocaust and saw your video on American freedom and the Covid vaccine.

"It included images of the Holocaust and of Adolf Hitler, the monster who murdered my father, 26 members of my family, and 6 million Jews and others in gas chambers, in ditches, in firing squads, and even in gas trucks."

In a second video, he continued: "You are absolutely not promoting freedom, but promoting hate, antisemitism, and possibly even more violence and constant hate.

"You should apologize to us all, remove the video immediately. It is disgusting and thoughtless and careless and I am shocked by your lack of sensitivity."

He signed the message off: "You want to speak about freedom? Come and speak to me."

The video that was shared by Rogan on Instagram last week was talking about protecting freedom specifically when it comes to providing proof of having the Covid-19 vaccine.

Despite not referring specifically to the Nazi atrocities in the clip, he explained: "As soon as you give politicians power, any kind of power that didn't exist previously, if they can figure out a way to force you into carrying something that lets you enter businesses or lets you do this or lets businesses open, historically, they are not gonna give that power up.

"They find new reasons to use it. We have to protect those freedoms at all costs, whether you agree with people's choices or not. Because it is the foundation that this country was founded on. Freedom."

A clip of Adolf Hitler was shown at the same time as Rogan was saying: "Up until 1776, every f*****g country that ever existed was run by dictators, all of them."

Commenting on Gidon's videos, one person wrote: "I apologize for the ignorance of our generation. Joe Rogan doesn't speak for us, but he is a part of the bigger American problem."

Another added: "People really need to stop the comparison. Why would you compare the vaccine to a regime that killed 10's of millions?"

And a third said: "Thank you for sharing and holding Joe Rogan accountable. I'm so sorry for what you've gone through and others using it for their own means."

LADbible has reached out to Joe Rogan for a comment.
