A bus passenger who was caught up in a crash managed to take bizarre before and after selfies.

Now, you or I might not consider stopping to take a quick snap after being involved in an RTC, but this chap did and he's gone viral as a result.

Seemingly taking one selfie prior to climbing aboard, the unnamed man then took a second photo of himself in a very similar position. This time, however, his face was covered in dust and an upturned bus can be seen in the background with a number of passengers standing around.

Since the photos surfaced online, comments on social media have ranged from the piss-taking: "I shouldn't be laughing. Why am I laughing? This was a trap." to the more concerned: "Why am I not seeing the funny side to this? The man just survived an accident and I can't help but wonder if everyone is alright."

The photos have gone viral.

According to reports online the incident happened in Zimbabwe on 20 November. What caused the crash or if any injuries were sustained by passengers is not yet - but at least this fella only seemed to get dust on his face in the crash.

Earlier this year,a woman used her post-crash selfie to show off the power of her eye-liner. I shit you not.

A nurse from Boston, known as Shelby online, used her post-collision selfie on the Kat Von D's cosmetic's website to heap praise on the staying power of the 'tattoo eyeliner'.

In a post, she shared a photo of herself wearing a neck brace, with scratches on her forehead and black around under her eyes from her mascara, however, fair play her eyeliner is still on-point.

Alongside the photo, she wrote: "This product is truly amazing. June 28th I was pulled over in my car calling for roadside assistance when a distracted driver hit me going 55mph.

"I was taken via ambulance to the ER where I remained for eight hours. My mascara was running down my face from crying and all other products had been wiped off in the transfer to the hospital. But not my tattoo eyeliner.

"I am posting a pick to show you, this product lasts and looks amazing through anything. Never buying any other liner again [sic]."

Some people slammed her for taking the photo, however, on Twitter Shelby responded by saying: "Everyone's hating on my review because I posted a picture of the makeup after the accident [but] 1. I took the photo for police evidence, 2. But have you ever seen such a good eyeliner?!"

Fair enough.
