Life is tough. In the modern world you've got to juggle eating, working, trying to enjoy yourself, and sleeping. However, there's just not always enough time to fit all of that in, so sometimes corners have to be cut and time made up.
With that in mind, one woman decided that she was going to shave her legs whilst waiting for a train, sat right on the platform.
This might fly if you lived in rural Lincolnshire or somewhere like that, unfortunately, that was not the case.
This woman was sat at a busy subway station in one of the busiest cities in the world - Times Square, New York.
That takes some serious balls (figuratively speaking) and the hundreds of commuters who surrounded her probably thought she was incredibly strange, but if you've got to do it, you've got to do it.
This whole bizarre incident at 42nd Street Station in Manhattan was captured on a phone by a presumably shocked commuter. She doesn't care though, and fair play to her. If you've got the confidence to do something like that you'll probably be OK.
Let's face it, if she lived in the United Kingdom she would have had time to do her make-up, hair, have a shower, clean her teeth, and pluck her eyebrows before they eventually cancelled her train.
This whole strange thing happened just weeks after another woman was spotted choosing an unlikely spot to take care of her beauty regime.
This time though, instead of being a carefree expression of confidence and a novel way to get around the time constraints of modern city like, it's just - well - a little bit creepy and gross.
This woman was a holidaymaker who had decided to shave her legs by the side of a pool at a resort.
Gross, right? Even worse than that, there were children swimming around nearby. She didn't seem to care about any of them and even washed off her razor in the pool right next to the kids. You'd have to think that someone would say something.
You'd be wrong.
Either way, she took her time over it and did a very thorough job to make sure that she got every hair.
So, the lesson to take away from this is that you should make time to do these things before you leave the house, or, even better, don't be rushed around by the modern world.
If you must publicly groom yourself, it's better to do it on a train platform than in someone else's swimming pool. That's just nasty.
