A TikTok user has gone viral after she posted a video showing her 'disappointing' festive meal from Gino D’Acampo’s restaurant. Take a look below:
Ashley (@east_shore_home) visited the TV chef's Leeds joint recently and in aid of the festive season, ordered the turkey meal, ‘expecting all the trimmings’.

However, when it arrived, she was disappointed to be served a plate of ‘just turkey’.
She turned to social media to complain, branding the meal a ‘rip off’ and said: "When you're at Gino D'acampo’s restaurant and pay £17.95 for turkey expecting all the trimmings. Just turkey it is!"
The video garnered a lot of response, of course, with one TikTok user saying the restaurant was known for quality rather than quantity.
Ashley was clearly not happy with the comment, as she replied that the meal tasted ‘like a salty leather shoe’. How appetising.
She proceeded to offer her angry commenters some further clarification, as she explained she was attending the restaurant for a Christmas party so they had to pre-order.

The TikTokker added: “When you see the price of turkey on the menu, we just assumed it came with all the trimmings.”
In another comment she said that her party had ordered a side of chips for £4.50 after seeing the measly portion, explaining: “You think they’d ask if you wanted any sides before it ordered.”
According to the menu, sides are available with the festive meal ‘for an additional cost’.
The video sees Ashley and her pals seated at the restaurant, before the camera pans to a pretty beige-looking meal.

The camera moves to the woman seated next to Ashley, who looks particularly disappointed with the posh grub.
Before long, the video had received lots more attention, with most people agreeing that restaurants like Gino’s cost too much for too little food.
One said: "Sadly this is quite common in more expensive restaurants. Luckily the waiter questioned my order the first time and now I always check."

In a Karen-like fashion, another added: "Welp, looks like it's time to scream at the teenage waitress."
A third user explained that ‘turkey is unbelievably cheap’, so there was no reason for the dish to be so expensive.
Another joked: "Go to Wetherspoons then?"
The video has now been viewed over 500,000 times.
