She freaked out the next morning when she remembered what she'd done.

A woman is set to appear in court after allegedly leaving her boyfriend to suffocate in a suitcase during a game of hide and seek.

She first found herself on the wrong side of the law in 2020 when she was arrested for zipping her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr, into a suitcase during a game of hide and seek. Watch below:

The incident took place after the couple spent an evening drinking at their home in Winter Park, Florida in February of 2020.

Their antics took a sinister turn when a video emerged of Jorge inside the suitcase shouting: "I can't f***ing breathe."

Sarah, who was 42 at the time, will now appear in court on 30 January for a pre-trial hearing for his murder as he did not survive the 'game'.

Elsewhere in the incriminating video, Sarah can be heard telling her partner: "For everything you've done to me. F*** you. Stupid."

He reacts by calling out her name and stressing: "I can't f***ing breathe, seriously."

"Yeah, that's what you do when you choke me," she replied.

She then added: "That's on you. Oh, that's what I feel like when you cheat on me. You should probably shut the f*** up."

Sarah called 911 after locking her boyfriend in a suitcase.

Sarah then went to bed when her partner was still in the suitcase, assuming that he would be able to get out.

The next morning, after spending some time in bed, assuming her partner was downstairs 'on the laptop looking for employment', she remembered what she had done.

The arrest document stated: "Sarah freaked out and remembered the last time she saw Jorge was when she zipped him in the suitcase."

He was found unresponsive the next morning and later declared dead.

In a recording first obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, Sarah proceeded to call 911 and tell the operator that her boyfriend had died after playing a game of hide and seek.

She continued: "My boyfriend and I were playing last night, and I put him in a suitcase and we were playing... like, kind of a hide-and-seek kind thing, so... I fell asleep and I woke up and he was dead in the suitcase. I don't know what happened."

The then-42-year-old said he had 'blood coming out of his mouth' and appeared to have suffered an aneurysm.

"He's stiff and he's purple," she said.

The recording was discovered after Sarah gave authorities written and verbal consent to search her phone after the discovery of Jorge's body.
