Inde Navarrette had called out a joke Shane Gillis made on Saturday Night Live about how women dress at the gym.
The Obsession star had hosting duties for the comedy show's Halloween episode, and she made sure to hit back at a controversial joke told by Gillis on their 10 October episode when he'd been hosting.
During his opening monologue, Gillis had said that 'women just dress like whores now' when they're at the gym, saying he hadn't 'been to the gym in so long' and thought there was 'no other way to describe' them.
"Have you seen it? I’ve seen it. You’ve seen the shorts?" he asked rhetorically of the SNL audience during his monologue.

"They’re those neon, like, artificial vape-colored [shorts], and the wrinkles go around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole. And don’t look, you’re not allowed to look!"

Gillis got put on blast by Navarrette, who mentioned in her own opening that she was going to be playing Rogue in the cast for the X-Men reboot, telling the crowd she'd been putting in the hours in the gym.
She said: "I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m gonna be in a Marvel movie. I know it’s really important for Marvel that you get really fit, so I’ve been working out a lot.”
"So every morning, I put on my little whore outfit, and I hit the gym."
Gillis has faced plenty of backlash for what he said and he has apologised, but for swearing rather than his joke about what women wear to the gym.
His comments had prompted a negative reaction from the crowd which had him saying 'look, I’m sorry there’s no other way to describe it', and at the end of his SNL episode he said 'sorry about earlier'.
However, he appeared to he apologising for a moment in a Dr Seuss themed sketch where he had sworn while speaking to Andrew Dismukes.
Navarrette isn't the only one to have called out Gillis on SNL, as over on the UK version of the show Ania Magliano did a mock news segment where she said: "A ride operator at Munich Oktoberfest was praised for giving out free cycling shorts to female riders.
"Wearing the gym shorts will protect women from being upskirted, but it does make them vulnerable to something much worse."
A picture of Gillis then appeared on a screen behind her which drew applause from the audience.
Magliano also addressed his swearing and how that's not really the controversy people were expecting him to apologise for, telling Gillis he was 'not allowed to say that' before dropping her own F and C bombs.
LADbible Group have contacted Shane Gillis' representatives for comment.
