Ex-Miss Croatia has made promise to fans if her country wins World Cup

She's been cheering her team on in Qatar

The World Cup is well and truly underway and as the countries battle it out for glory, some are imagining the celebrations already.

Now, an ex-Miss Croatia has promised fans that she will get naked if her country comes out on top (pardon the pun).

Ivana Knoll has been living her best life in Qatar and has been making headlines throughout the event because of her seriously revealing outfits.

Particularly as she is making the bold decision to wear them in a strict religious country - where she has essentially put herself at risk of arrest.

She made the revelation about getting naked to German media, who asked her how she will react if Croatia wins.

Ivana, who was wearing a Croatian flag at the time, and she said in response to a potential win: "If that happens, the flag falls…"

The model is a huge fan of her country's team.

News of her plan to drop the flag comes after the model defended her skimpy outfits by telling the people of Qatar that they need to 'respect her way of life'.

She said of the country's Qatari dress code: "First I was thinking if the World Cup is happening there, they for sure will allow everything to make it comfortable for all fans without any of their restrictions.

"Then I heard about the rules and I was shocked. In the dress code you're forbidden from showing your shoulders, knees, belly and neck. I was like 'omg I don't even have clothes covering that all'."

Ivana said that she'd ultimately be 'super angry' if it is enforced.

It's no wonder too, either, as the event has significantly increased the model's profile, bagging her over a million Instagram followers - and she could well surpass two million by the time it's over.

While her outfits might be banned, if the pictures on her Instagram are anything to go by, locals have been enjoying the show too and she's reportedly been stopped for selfies.

She confirmed to the German publication who asked about her celebratory plans that she's going to stay in Qatar until the end of the World Cup - regardless of Croatia's fate.

But as Croatia have literally just beat Brazil to reach the World Cup semi-finals, it looks like Ivana might need to honour her promise to drop the flag!

The semi-final game between Croatia and their TBC opponent is scheduled to take place on 13 December. We can't wait.
