Donald Trump has issued chilling instructions for what to do if he is assassinated by Iran.
The US president has again restarted bombing campaigns in Iran after a ceasefire was reached back in April.
Pakistan had stepped in to broker the ceasefire after Trump threatened via social media that a 'whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again'.
The strained ceasefire had held while negotiations were ongoing, but attacks have now resumed.

Three tankers had been attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which is being blockaded by Iran, and were attacked.
Following this, the US launched another wave of strikes on Iran, which then responded with strikes against US bases across the Middle East.
Trump has also responded to reports that Israel had warned him that Iran intends to target him in an assassination.

Speaking to the New York Post, he said: “I’ve left instructions – if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before."
However, he also dismissed the warning, saying: “Israel came up with nothing. I’ve been on their [Iran's] list for a long time. That’s what we’re dealing with.”
Trump spoke about threats to his life in Turkey, saying: “They had leaders, they’re gone. Then they had another set of leaders, they’re gone. Now they have another set of leaders — they may be gone, who knows?
“And you know what? I may be gone too. Because I’m their number one target - it’s out all over the place.”
Tensions have again escalated as Iran buried Ali Khamenei, who had led the Islamic Republic from 1989 until his death on February 28 2026.
Trump reiterated his threat in a post on his Truth Social page, writing: “1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!”

Trump added: "Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran - PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!"
Meanwhile, Pakistan has again tried to intercede and prevent further escalation, with Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressing 'deep concern' to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in a phone call.
Sharif has reportedly called on both sides not to escalate the renewed hostility any further.
