Donald Trump had a very blunt response when he was asked about the ongoing conflict

President Donald Trump dropped an NSFW word on TV today, after he was asked about the developing situation between Iran and Israel.

In an interview with reporters, Trump could be seen discussing the alleged ceasefire and ongoing conflict in the Middle East, claiming that the countries had been fighting for 'so long' they don't know what they're doing.

"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard, that they don't know what the f**k they're doing," he said.

"Do you understand that?"

In an interview, the American president told reporters that Israel needs to 'calm down' and that he's trying his best to stop the retaliation.

He said: "Israel - as soon as we made the deal they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before. The biggest load that we’ve seen.

"I’m not happy with Israel. When I say ‘OK now you have 12 hours’, you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you’ve got on them.

"So I’m not happy with them, I’m not happy with Iran either, but I’m really unhappy if Israel’s going out this morning.

"... We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f**k they’re doing."

Trump, who thought he had brokered a deal between the two countries, has told Israel to stand down from attacking Iran.

Writing on Truth Social, he said: "ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS.

"IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!

"DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."

Earlier today, the Israeli military claimed that it had identified missiles, reportedly launched from Iran.

Despite an alleged ceasefire between the two countries, according to BBC, Israel's defence minister has reportedly instructed the military to 'respond forcefully to Iran's violation of the ceasefire with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran'.

However, the details surrounding the alleged strike are unclear, with Iranian state media claiming that Iran has denied reports that it fired a missile after the ceasefire had began.

Iran's foreign minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, previously posted on X saying if Israel stops, Iran has 'no intention to continue our response afterwards'.

"As Iran has repeatedly made clear: Israel launched war on Iran, not the other way around," he said.

"As of now, there is NO 'agreement' on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards.

"The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later."

Trump later added on Truth Social: "ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly “Plane Wave” to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
