Warning: This article contains allegations which some readers may find distressing.

It has taken months, but a Ukrainian model has now opened up on her chilling experience in Dubai, where she claims she was attacked after a lavish party.

OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk revealed that she was found on a roadside in the Middle Eastern city with serious injuries.

The 20-year-old spoke to a Russian news outlet about her situation, revealing that she is now wheelchair-bound and struggles to walk without assistance after being physically abused.

What happened to Maria Kovalchuk?

After going missing for over a week amidst fears that she could be kidnapped into sexual slavery, she was rushed to hospital to treat her broken spine and numerous broken limbs.

She was originally in Dubai to make content for her NSFW page, but after oversleeping, she missed her flight to Thailand and stayed for an extra night.

In a hotel lobby, she would meet a young Russian man, who invited her to a party with several other businessmen, who mistreated and teased her for not drinking.

This soon escalated to physical shoving, and breaking glass on the floor to 'hint' at her to carry out sexual acts with them, she claimed.

When she tried to escape, they found her at a construction site, where she recalled a 'blow to the head' before being found asking for help.

Kovalchuk then went into a coma after it was determined she had 'fallen from a height'.

While local authorities paid 'millions' for her medical bills, they asked that she didn't speak ill of the Dubai authorities.

The Ukrainian didn't attribute any of the blame to them, instead pointing her finger at the Russian and Ukrainian businessmen allegedly involved.

However, the model was not the first to fall foul to these harrowing parties.

What are 'porta potty parties'?

Models, often with large social media followings, have been lured to parties by rich men who often offer them large amounts of money to attend.

They are also often convinced with money, gifts, and free stays in five-star hotels, say the Mirror.

Horror stories have emerged from the region, as influencers on a number of platforms have warned others to 'be careful' of the so-called 'porta potty parties' that are hosted by wealthy men in Dubai.

The name porta potty has been tagged to these parties as reports have come out over the months and years that these powerful men would urinate and defecate on these models.

Videos on the matter have gone viral, raising attention on the growing issue, though as Kovalchuk's case shows, they are still going on.

It was confirmed by Dubai Police that Kovalchuk was receiving medical care at the time, claiming that she 'entered a restricted construction site alone and fell from a height'.

Speaking in a video, she admitted she 'would never want to go back' to Dubai, explaining: "The police wouldn't let us leave, they took my passport, and we were in the hospital the whole time."

Recalling what happened on that construction site, she suggested: “I think that maybe I was thrown. Or it was a beating. One of two options, the injuries looked like either a beating or a fall.”

According to the police report, the men accused were detained by local police for just one day, though they were let go with no charges made, as they claimed they tried to find Maria after she asked to come to their party.

“The [Dubai] police investigation indicated that Maria said that she was running away from sexual violence and then went to protect her honour, her dignity, decided to commit suicide,” Kovalchuk's mother explained.
