A model who was left fighting for her life following a horrific 'attack' in Dubai has opened up on her recovery process.
Maria Kovalchuk was put into an induced coma after suffering life-threatening injuries while out in the United Arab Emirates city, something she feels came in the wake of the now infamous 'porta potty parties' which have gathered public attention in recent times.
The term 'porta potty party' refers to occasions where men invite women to their social gatherings and allegedly flaunt their money to the extent where they believe it will get them whatever they desire, which sadly often means degrading those involved.

A recent BBC documentary looked into the tragic death of a woman from Uganda who had travelled to Dubai and was likely subject to parties similar to this, with one person revealing that she'd been offered a large sum to eat an ice cream cone filled with human faeces.

Maria, an OnlyFans model from Ukraine, is one of the latest examples of the horrifying damage these parties can cause, with the creator fortunate to escape with her life after she alleges that she was 'thrown from a building' by a group of 'rich Russian kids'.
What happened to Maria Kovalchuk?
After travelling to Dubai, Maria was discovered on the roadside with a broken spine and other serious injuries, that left her needing to use a wheelchair when she came out of her coma.

She claims that a group of Russian men invited her to a party after offering her a trip home on a private jet, but things allegedly turned aggressive with them smashing glass on the floor and pushing her around.

Although she tried to escape, her clothes and passport were stolen, and she thinks she suffered a blow on the head which made her memories foggy, before she eventually woke up on the side of the road.
“I think that maybe I was thrown. Or it was a beating. One of two options, the injuries looked like either a beating or a fall,” she said.
How is her recovery going?
Speaking to NTV’s Central Television in Russia, Maria has now provided an update on her recovery, which involved learning to walk again, dealing with facial disfigurement and general anxiety.

She said: “At first, I felt like a broken doll. I couldn’t imagine my future life, how I would cope with these injuries, with this scar, disfigured… I wondered how I would ever find love… And other questions troubled me, too.
“But over time, my perception of this world somehow changed; I began to understand that what matters most is your inner state. What matters most is how you feel. I had enormous problems, but I managed to overcome them thanks to the support of my family and friends. I felt the healing power of love.”
She's since warned other young women of the potential dangers of travelling to Dubai as it 'isn't what it seems'.
Maria concluded: “There are many pitfalls, a lot of darkness. Young women who want to build a happy future shouldn’t chase wealth or wealthy men.”
