An autopsy report has revealed the cause of death of hiker Juliana Marins, who fell while hiking along an active volcano.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that, Marins, 26, had fallen from a hiking trail on Indonesia's Mount Rinjani and dropped 1,000ft into a crater.
Marins had survived the initial fall, with rescuers able to hear her screams from inside the crater and drone footage confirming that she was moving around.
However, when a team descended into the crater, she was no longer there. It's believed that she'd fallen for a second time, before rescuers were able to reach the location.

It would take a further four days before rescuers were able to reach her, by which time she'd tragically passed away from her injuries.
An autopsy report for the Brazilian national has now been completed, with News.com.au. revealing that Marins passed away from 'blunt force trauma' to 'almost all parts of her body'.

According to Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit, who performed the autopsy, Marins' injuries were consistent with that of a fall.
"I could see that the worst [injuries] were related to the respiratory system and there were wounds to the chest area, and especially the chest and the back," Dr. Ida said.

"These injuries damaged the internal organs. We saw a huge amount of bleeding in the chest cavity."
Dr. Ida went on to explain that Marins' body exhibited evidence of 'extensive' bleeding in her chest and stomach, suggesting that she 'died very quickly from her injuries'.
The doctor added that Marins had also sustained a head injury from the fall, as well as a broken thigh bone.
He also ruled out hypothermia, as well as hunger or thirst, as a cause of death.

Marin's family have since issued a statement regarding her death, writing on social media: "Today, the rescue team managed to reach the place where Juliana Marins was. With great sadness, we inform you that she did not survive.
"We remain very grateful for all the prayers, messages of love and support we have received."
Meanwhile Tereza Cristina - a member of the Brazilian Federal Senate - has also paid tribute to the dancer, writing on X: "The entire Brazil cheered and prayed that the rescue would arrive in time to save the young woman from Niterói, Juliana Marins, alive.
"Unfortunately, they could not save her. Very sad. Our condolences to her family and friends. And may the Brazilian government, through Itamaraty, demand an investigation of the facts and the punishment of those responsible in Indonesia.
"In practice, Juliana was left behind twice: on the dangerous trail and after she fell off the cliff."
