Snakes are well known for being able to stick a lot in their gob and we don't really need any scientific tests to prove that.
But one brave, or stupid, soul decided to put a snake's capabilities to the test by seeing if it was able to eat him alive.
We're certainly in the era of crazy stunts going viral on social media but life-threatening ones usually aren't worth the views, as MrBeast found out when he challenged a guy to escape a burning building in the quest of winning some money.
There was also likely to be some money on the line when American conservationist Paul Rosolie who decided to one-up Sir David Attenborough by getting as close as possible to the action, as part of the Discovery Channel's Eaten Alive series - yes that is a real thing.

Rosolie donned a custom-made carbon fibre suit which would protect him from the snake's fangs, with the suit also slathered in pig's blood to really get the anaconda interested.
It was also fitted with an oxygen supply so he could breathe, as well as a microphone and cameras so he could be monitored at all times.
However, things took a turn for the worse (if things could get worse) when it started to constrict him instead of eating him whole, with Rosolie wanting to bring a quick halt to the proceedings over fears that the snake would break his arm.
When the serpent latched onto his head, he had definitely had enough: "Stand by guys, I'm starting to feel like she's consuming me. Guys, my face is down. I'm calling it, I need help!"

Well, his close call with death certainly hasn't put him off the animal kingdom as a whole, as he's now fighting tooth and nail to save the Amazon rainforest.
He recently took to Instagram to claim that he wasn't allowed to use the term 'Amazon' on Google Ads without getting flagged for 'copyright violation', something which was no doubt affecting his ability to save the rainforest.
Rosolie wrote, "PLEASE TAG THEM AND HELP ME PROTECT THIS PART OF THE AMAZON RAINFOREST — Dear @jeffbezos and laurensanchezbezos right now 'Amazon.com' has the rights to the word AMAZON to the extent that my team and I (the people of the Amazon rainforest… can’t use the term! Junglekeepers.org is close to making history and saving the wildest place on earth. But we are being hemmed on the internet because Google ads words hits us with copyright violation if we try to advertise what we are doing."

He continued, "It’s the name of the largest rainforest on the planet. We ought to be able to use the name to save it… And here’s the thing: I know you guys care. And to everyone else — keep the comments professional please. I just need you all to tag them enough the see it. Keep it clean kids. We just want to save a forest and a few hundred million animals. It’s not so much to ask ❤️ @bezosearthfund"
Fortunately, his prayers were answered by the big man himself, who replied to say that it 'makes no sense' and that the Amazon team would be in touch.
Amazon's official Instagram account did indeed then reply, writing, "Hi Paul. We'd like to help clear this up for you. Of course, we’re comfortable with your use of the word Amazon. Please DM us and someone from our team will reach out to clear up any misunderstanding. Btw, big thank you for all that you’re doing to help save the rainforest!"
