Dreaming about your teeth falling out is fairly common - but for this poor beauty queen, it became a living nightmare.

While strutting her stuff on stage at the Miss Grand Thailand pageant earlier this week, Kamolwan Chanago suffered something of a mouth-related malfunction.

As the 18-year-old was addressing the crowd, her veneers became dislodged, leaving her struggling to spit her sentence out.

In footage which has since gone viral, Chanago can be seen introducing herself on stage during the preliminary rounds of Miss Grand Thailand 2026.

She is among the 77 contestants competing for the coveted crown, who will then go on to represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International pageant in India, which is set to take place in October.

There will likely be a lot more eyes on the Miss Grand Thailand finale in Bangkok on 28 March now, following Chanago's dental faux pas.

Take a look at this:

On Wednesday (25 March), Chanago veneers visibly became loose while she was speaking to the audience.

Despite the fact most people would want to find the nearest exit and hightail it out of there if that happened to them, the contestant seemed to decide that the show must go on.

After quickly turning away from the camera to put them back into place, she then waltzed down the catwalk in her glittery gown - and even flashed a toothy grin as she did so.

Although there has inevitably been a few people laughing at her expense, the majority of people have been praising Chanago for handling the situation so gracefully.

"Feel so bad for her," one social media user said. "Such a beautiful lady. I'm glad she was able to brace up and continue her walk."

Another applauded Chanago for 'maintaining her composure', while a third added: "Poor thing. I hope she's okay, I can imagine the embarrassment. "

A fourth then added: "That recovery though! She caught them, fixed them discreetly, and strutted on like an absolute queen. Grace under pressure at its finest. The show must go on!"

While a fifth chimed in saying: "She ate that though."

Others also pointed out that dental flippers, which are also known as clip-in veneers, are commonly used by competitors in pageants.

One explained: "It’s called a 'flipper' and they are common in Toddler & Tiaras when they have missing or loose teeth. She has teeth, just not 'perfect' teeth. Poor thing."

As well as receiving a lot of public support, the organisers behind the event also praised Chanago for displaying 'professionalism and composure' despite the mammoth mishap.

A spokesperson for Miss Grand International told People: "During her on-stage introduction, Kamolwan Chanago experienced a minor and unexpected incident in which her veneer teeth became dislodged.

"She handled the situation with professionalism and composure, and the event continued smoothly without disruption.

"We are proud of her confidence and stage presence throughout the competition."
