'China's Nostradamus' predicts the next 9/11 before civilisation collapses in the next 20 years

A professor who's self-dubbed himself as 'one of the most polarizing figures in the world right now' has spoken out about predicting 'another 9/11 attack' and why 'the collapse of civilisation itself' is already underway.

Professor Jiang Xueqin, a Chinese-born Canadian educator dubbed 'China's Nostradamus,' appeared on Steven Bartlett's The Diary of A CEO podcast earlier this year.

The Yale-educated geopolitics expert and host of the YouTube channel Predictive History discussed several predictions he made in 2024 which have since actually come true, alongside several further predictions for the future.

Studying 'patterns, incentives and how people and institutions have acted before,' he voiced why he believes there is set to be 'another 9/11 attack,' alongside why he thinks the 'collapse of civilisation' will occur.

And he certainly hasn't held back from offering dire predictions, noting to Bartlett: "I think there are a lot of people who do not like what I'm saying. I am one of the most polarising figures in the world right now. But I'm trying to prepare everyone."

The question is, what does Professor Jiang believe he's preparing us all for?

Professor Jiang Xueqin's prediction of 'another 9/11 attack'

Well, during the interview, the professor reflected on approaching the anniversary of the devastating 9/11 attacks and many people's fears there may be another similar attack on the United States.

He predicted: "If there is another 911 attack on the United States, I believe it will be an attack on the US financial infrastructure."

In Jiang's view, '9/11 was an act committed by terrorists in order to traumatise the population into self-destructive violence'.

And he exemplified what sort of attack like 9/11 he predicts could occur in the future.

Guiding Bartlett through 'a thought experiment,' he continued: "What would happen if one day you open your iPhone and you're looking to buy a coffee?”

“Well, you scan your iPhone and it doesn't read and you're like, well, there might be a problem with the bank.”

“You call the bank. you can't get food to the bag. And like after hours and hours of frantic anxiety, you finally recognize that there's an attack on critical US financial data servers. And so all the money in your bank account has been wiped out and they don't know when or how long it will take them to retrieve it.”

He reflected that if another attack happens, he thinks it's 'possible what we'll see is the destruction of the US financial infrastructure, which would drive millions of people into a mad frenzy'.

Although, civilisation may collapse before that's even happened, Professor Jiang revealing another equally as depressing and violent prediction.

The 'collapse of civilsation'

Professor Jiang voices: "I think that we are living in a time when the world is collapsing."

And Jiang's reasoning? Well, he believes 'we've basically hit the apex - the height - of technological advancement'.

"We can not go any further," he continued. "Because in order for technology to progress, you need greater specialisation and you need greater globalisation. But what we're seeing right now is this war in Iran, it will cause a chain of events that will force all nations to become much more general."

Doubling down on his word choice of 'collapse,' Professor Jiang said: "We are living not through World War III. We are not living through a shifting of the global order. We will live through over the next 20 years the collapse of civilisation itself."

Jiang clarified by the 'collapse of civilisation' he's talking about massive inequality, debt and polarisation.

"So when the system collapsed, the entire world collapsed," drawing comparisons to the "Bronze Age collapse" which saw climate change resulting in famine, prompting migration to areas with food, which led to an overwhelm of systems and the world losing order, according to Jiang which he says led to 'the very fundamental elements of civilisation' disappearing.

He cheerfully resolved: "I am positive that we are seeing the collapse of civilization.”
