Russian 'doomsday professor' says UK 'should be nuked off the map' in chilling threat

A Russian man referred to as a 'doomsday professor' has issued a chilling warning to the UK amid the ongoing support to Ukraine.

Ever since Russia first invaded Ukraine in 2021, much of Europe and the rest of the world has been united in supporting Volodymyr Zelenskyy's country and have condemned the aggressive actions of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Although US president Donald Trump recently paused military aid to Ukraine, the UK has remained committed to securing a lasting peace between the two, which may well lead to some huge consequences if Putin opts to follow the advice of honorary chairman of the Russian Council for Foreign and Defence Policy, Sergei Karaganov.

The 72-year-old, dubbed Professor Doomsday, is clearly sick of Keir Starmer's actions and has now warned that unless Britain stops aiding Ukraine, the UK 'won't exist' following a nuclear attack.

Speaking on The Right to Know! show on TVC channel, owned by the Moscow city government, Karaganov said, as per The Mirror: "The European question, unfortunately, cannot be resolved in a relatively peaceful way.

"I don't know the plans that our High Command has, the military plans, but it is quite obvious to me that in Ukraine it is necessary to defeat Europe.

"To make them run and bring it to the point where they realise the next wave of strikes will fall on their territory….if they resist, we should start hitting them with non-nuclear weapons.”

He then suggested that Europe - including Britain - 'needs to be scared off', and said that the UK was playing a 'traditional game' by pitting Ukraine against Russia.

He added: "The European disease must be treated. If we have to treat it with the harshest methods, it is better to treat it with the harshest methods. But I don't want to.

“You have to start explicitly explaining - it’s quite easy, because there will be no Britain. What they're doing is madness."

He certainly isn't the first Russian to suggest that Britain would be an obvious target for Russia, as Major-General Nikolay Plotnikov recently identified the UK as Russia's 'number one target' in any potential WW3 scenario.

“But Britain is a small country. They're gambling on a world war. What's going to happen to them? I’m not saying it will be terrible for everyone, but just that they won't exist anymore.

“Same thing I wouldn't want, God forbid, for France to be in the thick of a nuclear war either."

HIs threats come in the wake of Putin's recent deadly strikes in Ukraine, which led Trump to call him 'absolutely crazy' and slammed him for 'needlessly killing a lot of people'.
