Donald Trump has offered Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy the so-called blueprint, which he believes will bring Russia's invasion to an end.
It's been more than three years since Vladimir Putin first sent his troops across the border, but the war is still raging - even though the US has stepped in to mediate.
Following on from his meeting with the tyrant in Alaska, Trump is now set to sit down with Zelenskyy, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, and other European leaders.
"If all works out, we will then schedule a meeting with President Putin," he said of today's meeting in the wake of the crunch talks on Friday (15 August). "Potentially, millions of people’s lives will be saved."

The commander-in-chief will host Ukraine's leader and his allies in the Oval Office this afternoon (18 August) - and everyone has got their fingers crossed that the politicians won't be at each other's throats this time.
But in the eyes of the US President, there's a clear path through - and he's outlined exactly how his Ukrainian counterpart can 'end the war almost immediately' in a post on Truth Social.

"President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight," Trump wrote on his social media site yesterday (17 August).
"Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE. Some things never change!!!"

He followed up the post with another one, which showed off his hospitable side, as he described his meeting with Zelenskyy and Co as a 'big day' for the world.
"Never had so many European Leaders at one time," Trump added. "My great honour to host them!!!"
Putin has already laid out his 'conditions' for removing his forces from Ukraine, as reports claim he has demanded that the eastern oblasts of Donetsk and Luhansk be ceded to Russia.
Trump is said to be all for this; however, Zelenskyy has long maintained that his nation should not have to hand over any territory to secure a ceasefire.
In a post on X shared yesterday, the Ukrainian President seemed to suggest that this is still very much his stance - while he called for peace that 'must be lasting'.

Saying he was 'grateful' for Trump's invitation, Zelenskyy wrote: "We all share a strong desire to end this war quickly and reliably.
"And peace must be lasting. Not like it was years ago, when Ukraine was forced to give up Crimea and part of our East - part of Donbas - and Putin simply used it as a springboard for a new attack.
"Or when Ukraine was given so-called ‘security guarantees’ in 1994, but they didn’t work. Of course, Crimea should not have been given up then, just as Ukrainians did not give up Kyiv, Odesa, or Kharkiv after 2022.
"Ukrainians are fighting for their land, for their independence. Now, our soldiers have successes in Donetsk and Sumy regions."

Zelenskyy then revealed what he hopes to leave the White House with, while also calling on Putin to put a stop to the war, which he 'started'.
"I am confident that we will defend Ukraine, effectively guarantee security, and that our people will always be grateful to President Trump, everyone in America, and every partner and ally for their support and invaluable assistance," he
added.

"Russia must end this war, which it itself started. And I hope that our joint strength with America, with our European friends, will force Russia into a real peace."

In the last few hours, Trump returned to Truth Social to hit out at media outlets who 'don't have a clue' and 'tell him everything that he is doing wrong on the Russia/Ukraine MESS'.
"That is Sleepy Joe Biden’s war, not mine," he fumed. "I’m only here to stop it, not to prosecute it any further. It would have NEVER happened if I was President.
"I know exactly what I’m doing, and I don’t need the advice of people who have been working on all of these conflicts for years, and were never able to do a thing to stop them.
"They are 'STUPID' people, with no common sense, intelligence, or understanding, and they only make the current R/U disaster more difficult to FIX.
"Despite all of my lightweight and very jealous critics, I’ll get it done - I always do!!!"
