Virginia Giuffre's dad 'doesn't think she killed herself' as he speaks out for first time since her death

The 41-year-old died last month

Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing.

Virginia Giuffre's father has spoken out for the first time since her death last month and has suggested that he doesn't believe she truly killed herself.

The mother-of-three, who was known as the accuser of Prince Andrew, sadly died on 25 April at the age of just 41, after returning home from hospital where she had claimed on Instagram that she had just a few days to live following a bus crash.

Local police and the bus driver both disputed her claims, and she was able to get back to her farm in Australia, but tragically later took the decision to end her life, according to her publicist.

A family statement said: "It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking."

It continued: “Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.

“Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure.”

However, the method of her death has now been questioned by her father, Sky Roberts, in an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan.

He said: “Well, first of all, I couldn't even believe it. I mean, I started crying right away. I'm still crying. I can't believe that this is happening. It just, it's impossible.

“And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there's no way that she did. Somebody got to her.”

Prince Andrew settled out of court with Giuffre in 2022 but denied all claims against him.

Sky was clear that he stood by his daughter throughout her life, despite others questioning the validity of her claims, and also suggested that Prince Andrew's decision to pay her off was, in his mind, an admission of guilt.

He added: “I believed everything that she said. You know, I mean, she was my daughter.

“Virginia sent the original picture, so I know it wasn't faked, but the original picture of Prince Andrew and her with Ghislaine Maxwell in the background, so I know that's true that she did. She was there with him.

"It kind of admits guilt when you do that, when you pay somebody off like that, just, when Jeffrey Epstein paid, when Maxwell paid, it's admitting guilt. I mean, why would he spend 12 or 15 million to give to her?”

The full interview will be available to watch on Piers Morgan Uncensored on YouTube this evening.
