A man has shared an 'honest timeline' of undertaking a course of a drug called the ‘most powerful weight-loss jab ever’.
David P took to his YouTube channel where he shared a timeline of the drug over a 12-week course.
This is Retatrutide, a drug which is still in development and which is a 'triple agonist'.
That means that receptors in the body for three different hormones in an effort to reduce their effect and assist with weight loss.

Weight loss medication has seen a huge spike in recent years, with GLP-1 medications initially licensed for the treatment of diabetes now also being used for weight loss.
GLP-1 medications have an effect of creating a sense of 'fullness' with less food, meaning that with diet and exercise they can support someone who is trying to lose weight.
David P documented his own experiences with Retatrutide, making clear that this was just his anecdotal experience.
He explained that the tri-fector effect of the medication means that in addition to impacting appetite, Retatrutide is also intended to influence the way that the body uses energy.
That means that it might get through calories more quickly, for example, meaning that someone may find it easier to lose weight.
So what did David notice?

Weeks one and two
In the first two weeks, he explained that he began to notice the difference in appetite.
David said that people may not notice 'fat loss' a first, but instead a 'shift in hunger'.
This includes feeling full faster, and noticing that you're not getting hungry as much or as often.
Weeks three and four
David explained that this is the point where your intake of food gets lower and you start to notice fat loss on your body.
He said: "By now, the appetite suppression feels more consistent, you're not obsessing over your next meal."
David went on to explain that people might notice that they're eating less and it's not difficult for them to do so.
He added that it's at this point that the metabolic component may start to have more of an impact.
Weeks five and six
Here, David said that you may start to see visible changes in your body.
He said: "This isn't just scale weight, this is body composition."
The YouTuber went on to explain that hunger may now feel stable for someone rather than suppressed like it did before.

Weeks seven and eight
David said that this is where someone might start to feel the 'metabolic advantage'.
This is a crucial step, he said, because it's where you may start to feel different on Retatrutide than other forms of GLP-1 medication.
He added that people may feel less of a 'drained and flat feeling' that may accompany losing fat on your body.
Weeks nine and ten
At this stage David said that this is the stage where someone can begin 'recomposition', so readjusting their bodies after losing weight.
This may be because fat continues to drop and muscle is preserved more easily, he explained.
He added that someone might have a 'leaner overall look without feeling depleted'.
Weeks eleven and twelve
David explained that at this point people may realise that this 'didn't change how they eat, it changed how they experience hunger'.
He said that 'fat loss is still progressing' though people might feel like it is happening slower than in the weeks in the middle of the process.
Finally, David said that visually the difference between week one and week twelve is 'very dramatic'.
