Graduation can sometimes seem like a day that never ends because your proud parents can't stop taking photos of you in your gown and cap.
But one family showed why it can also be a day of immense happiness.
Madeleine Tarin posted this side-by-side photo shortly after her big day and it's absolutely smashing it on social media.

But some people with a keen eye were also quick to point out that Madeleine's mum hasn't aged a bloody day since the first photo was taken.

She explained that her mum got pregnant at 15 and gave birth when she was 16. Her mum and dad stayed at high school, got married seven years later and managed to buy their own house.
Madeleine has told Buzzfeed: "At first, I just wanted to show my friends and followers I had a story that a lot of people didn't really know about me and my main motive to why I've strived so hard to be successful in high school and will continue to strive in college.
"This whole year, I've been waiting to take this photo. And when I posted it and saw how much people had been inspired by, it gave me and my parents even more of a sense of accomplishment."
Good on you Madeleine.
