Nan Of Disabled Boy Launches Appeal To Give Him Best Birthday Ever

All the feels.

Throwing a party and having no one turn up was a major worry of mine when I was a teenager. I'm an antisocial bastard now, so I don't care, but I still know that feeling of dread in the days leading up to your big shin dig - 'what if it's just me and my mum?'

But one lady isn't taking any chances when it comes to no one turning up for her disabled grandson's birthday as she's launched an appeal to get as many people as possible to celebrate little Jonty's fifth birthday.

Jonty Payne was born prematurely and has congenital scoliosis, a curving of the spine, he was also born with missing ribs and sometimes has to use a wheelchair.

The little lad also has language delay and limited motor skills, which sometimes makes him frustrated and causes him to lash out at other kids. As a result of this, he's never been invited to a party and struggles to make friends.

His nan, Donna Payne, told the Daily Mail that she's scared no one will turn up to his party, so with the help of special needs charity, SmileDial, they've launched an appeal to make sure he gets a day to remember.

They're hoping to crowdfund a venue with food, entertainers and presents. Loads of people have already chipped in and nan Donna said she's 'blown away' by all the support they've already received.

The best bit is that Jonty has no clue about any of it, so it will be a massive surprise when his birthday rolls 'round next month.
