The New Trailer For 'Independence Day: Resurgence' Has Just Dropped

When Independence Day came out in 1996, it was an instant success, grossing $817 million worldwide and cementing itself as one of the biggest blockbusters of the millennium.

Now, it's sequel, Resurgence, has dropped a second trailer.

The short offering shows Jeff Goldblum and co. testing out an alien spaceship, taking out several famous landmarks, buildings and aeroplanes as they do.

It's pointless trying to interpret. Films with such a visual command like this are too hard to eulogise in words. Just watch this.

Liam Hemsworth, Vivica A Fox, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Judd Hirsch and Joey King all join Goldblum in the flick, which will opens in UK cinemas on June 23rd.
