After years and years of waiting, Rockstar has finally given us a glimpse into the next generation of the iconic gaming series - a day earlier than expected.
Take a look at the trailer below:
Millions of gamers were filled with excitement last month when boss Sam Houser announced that the first trailer for GTA 6 would be coming in 'early December'.

"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto," his tweet read.
"We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."
And on Friday (1 December), Rockstar revealed that the release date for the first trailer would in fact be on 5 December at 9am ET (2pm UK time).

However, fans were shocked on Monday evening (4 December) when the trailer dropped a day early.
And the company took to X - formerly Twitter - to explain what went down.
They said: "Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube."
It seems that 24 hours before its anticipated debut, the unrealised trailer appeared on social media early Monday afternoon and quickly spread around the internet.

According to reports, the account was then suspended pretty fast - but the damage had already been done.
Many felt bad for Rockstar considering that this was the first trailer of a game that has been a decade in the making.
But although we didn't get a look at the gameplay, the graphics really do look out of this world.

It's set in a place very reminiscent of Vice City and we get to see a woman called Lucia star as a lead character.
She is the first-ever female lead character in Grand Theft Auto's history.
In the trailer, Lucia first appears in a prison and the final scene is her robbing a convenience store with a male lead character.
"If I were to buy GTA VI when it comes out you bet I’ll be playing as Lucia," wrote one fan.

"I’ve been asking for a female playable character in a GTA game for many years. It’s finally happening."
Another added: "I hope that after all these years that we have waited for GTA VI, the details and realism of the characters will be at this level."
A third said: "Let's go! She looks dope!"
As shown at the end of the trailer, the game won't be dropping until 2025, so there's still some more time to go.
