Vegetarian Eats Meat For The First Time In 22 Years And She's So Happy

Her face is priceless.

I've not eaten meat in 20 years. Please don't send me abuse, my meat-free life is miserable enough.

During this time, the two main questions I'm asked when people find out are, 'how?' and 'do you miss meat?' The answer to the former is easy, I just don't.

The answer to the latter is a bit more complicated, because I stopped eating meat as a kid, so I don't really remember it to miss it. But do I get the urge to eat a bacon sandwich or order steak and chips when I'm out for dinner? Of course I do. I can't speak for all vegetarians, but for me, the idea of meat isn't repulsive, it smells amazing. But I'm soft and I like animals, so I don't.

However, after watching this video I kind of want to give it a go more than ever.

Stephanie Potakis, the casting director of The Onion and A.V. Club has been a vegetarian for 22 years and decided to give meat a whirl, all in the name of journalism. And, tbf, she does more for the meat-eating cause than any advert I've ever seen.

"That crunch, man, that's really good skin. You don't get that with vegetables, ever," she says of the revelation at how good fried chicken is. And she bloody loves the bone marrow. She just loves all of it. When I saw the title of this video I thought she would probably be sick at least once, but she devours all of it and looks so fucking happy throughout.

I think it's safe to say that Stephanie won't be going back to nut roasts anytime soon.
