No Numbskulls, WhatsApp And Facebook Messenger Will Not Start Charging You

In another article where I have to grit my teeth and tell anyone that if they're under 50 and fell for the scam, they're not idiotic morons, I have great news that we will not be paying for WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger unless we 'copy and paste' a message.

Seriously, can't keep it up... why are people so thick? If you're of a certain age, fair enough, if not, give your head a wobble.

If you don't copy and paste the message you apparently aren't an "avid user" and will thus be charged. Yeah, course you will!

The message reads as such, with some variables...

Facebook's Messenger's has a little more context, making it all the more believable:

"From Saturday morning [today] Facebook will become chargeable. If you have at least 10 contacts send them this message. In this way we will see that you are an avid user and your logo will become blue and will remain free. As discussed in the paper today. Facebook will cost 0.01ps per message. Send this message to 10 people. When you do the light will turn blue otherwise Facebook will activate billing." Apart from the fact it's grammatically dodgy (no, not like my articles), it's clearly horse shit. Unfortunately, none of my friends on Facey B are so stupid, so I haven't got a screen grab for you.

Good news is, if you send it, you're not giving any information away or posing any risk to your tablet, laptop, phone etc. The only thing you will be losing is your dignity and self-respect.
