Dad Banned From School For Wearing Red Dwarf T-Shirt With 'Let's Get Out There And Twat It' On

A dad wore a Red Dwarf t-shirt for his kid's sports day and ended up getting himself banned from the school.

Now, it wasn't just that the head-teacher hated Rimmer, Lister and co. because the t-shirt also has: 'Let's get out there and twat it!' in massive letters right across it. And this particular dad was also a governor at the school. Lol.

The dad, Craig McBeth, told the Daily Mail that wearing the t-shirt was a mistake, caused by him rushing around on the day. When someone at the event told him the t-shirt was inappropriate he apologised and turned it inside out.

He then received a phone call from the head teacher who told him he was barred from school premises, after some parents had taken to Facebook to complain about the t-shirt.

But the trouble didn't end for the single dad. After being told he was barred, Craig thought that meant he couldn't go and pick up his daughter at the end of term (and I can see why he thought that), he then got a call from the school and social services asking him why he'd not picked up his kid and he had to explain the situation to them.

Now, obviously swearing in front of kids isn't cool - although my dad did and I think I turned out pretty fucking OK. But Craig says he put the top on by accident and that as soon as he realised what he'd done he turned it inside out, I can't help but think this is a case of few parents with too much time on their hands.

The school has said that since he stepped down as governor at the school the matter is closed and that its looking forward to getting back to normal in September. I bet Craig is, too.
