Dressing As A Clown This Halloween Could Get You Arrested

Good. Rejoice.

Halloween is almost here, so now is the time to start pulling together a last minute, shitty costume that you've put no thought or effort into.

If, for whatever reason, you fancied dressing as a clown this Halloween, then you might find yourself in trouble. Thanks to the vast number of idiots who have been dressing up as clowns, scaring kids and stabbing people, not necessarily in that order, Thames Valley Police have issued a warning about dressing as clowns.

At the clown craze height, the force dealt with 14 clown-related incidents in 24 hours. Chief Superintendent Andy Boyd told the Evening Standard: "Some of the behaviour that is being reported would lead to arrest. We don't want to spoil the Halloween fun but we do want people to feel comfortable and safe.

"You need to consider the ramifications of your actions and how you are making people feel. You may be arrested if you are putting people in fear."

I think the basic advice the police are giving here is not to be a dick. So no clowning around, lads.
