A diagnosed psychopath said his mother knew he was different when he was willing to let his younger sister drown in the pool.
Loic, 25, from Belgium, was diagnosed with psychopathy - often used to refer to symptoms of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) - two years ago.
ASPD is a challenging type of personality disorder characterised by impulsive, irresponsible and often criminal behaviour.
"It's like impossible to connect to others and to make social bonds," he told LADbible Stories on Minutes With.

"You see other people like mirror objects. You take a rock or you take a person, it's practically the same for a psychopath."
Recalling a childhood incident, Loic said he chose not to jump into a pool to help his younger sister because he didn’t want to get his clean clothes wet.
“My mum came out of the house and she's yelling, screaming that why I didn't jump into the pool. And I answered, ‘Mum, my clothes are clean’," he said.

“And she was like, ‘What the f**k is wrong with this kid?’ That was the first time my mum understood that I was different.
“And when you are parents, you're like trying to find excuses for the child because we are all told that children are angels.
“People told me you are not a human, you're a f**king demon to do that. But at the time I was not understanding what is happening.”
While Loic says he never feels regret, he did say that if he does something wrong he is ‘not gonna do it again’.
The two types of manipulator

Loic believes that there are both ‘violent’ and ‘charming’ manipulators, but insists that the latter are more dangerous.
“You got the beautiful appearance, and you got this very charming person. But this is more dangerous, because human beings tend to fall for the first impression,” he explained.
“So in the past, I was very charming with a big smile, very empathetic in appearance, very manipulative. And I think that was dangerous for me and for others.”
Although he can’t feel love, fear or stress, Loic emphasised that he still feels emotions.
“If psychopaths don't feel emotion, they're pretty dead because we all feel something,” he added.
“So don't make the supposition that psychopaths don't feel nothing. It's not true, it's different. We feel proto-emotions, and my emotional state is not neutral, because being neutral is the worst thing in psychology. In my side, I feel always positive, you know?”
All psychopaths are narcissists
Loic notes that all ‘psychopaths are narcissistic, but not all narcissists are psychopaths’.
“Narcissists, they're like us but not as good I think, because they need other people to fuel their ego,” he said.
“You know, as a narcissist it's very easy to manipulate them because you tell them that they're beautiful and they're like, ‘Oh’, you know? With a psychopath, the ego is already fuelled.”
‘I’m a good person’
“What is a good person? It's kind of a trick question because we need to make the supposition that if the good person is based on the behaviour or the intention, because I think we can do really bad things with morality,” Loic continued.
“So you can be a good person and act in a certain way with a bad behaviour. Now I think I'm a good person because I'm honest, I'm doing good things without hurting anybody else. So the question is, of course, there is always a dark side, and I think nobody can be a total good person, you know?”
