Danny Dyer Breaks Silence On West Ham's Chant About His Daughter

Aside from being one of the country's true hardmen, Danny Dyer is also known for having a burning passion for football.

And this week, his beloved West Ham United made history by making it through to the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The Irons eased past French outfit Olympique Lyonnais, with Craig Dawson and Declan Rice putting Dyer's side two up on the night.

But the game was put beyond Lyon when Jarrod Bowen, who happens to be dating Dyer's daughter, Dani, popped up with a third goal.

Now, as fans often do, the West Ham faithful have come up with an x-rated chant to celebrate the English striker and Love Island star's relationship.

It goes as follows: "Bowen’s on fire and he's s*****g Dani Dyer."

Unsurprisingly, Dani's dad has kept pretty quiet when it comes to the chant.

However, following the match, a jubilant Dyer posted a pic of Bowen, along with the caption: "Jarrod Bowen is on fire…and he's… cuddling me daughter or something. So proud. What a f***ing night.

"Love to all the West Ham family."

Dani replied to the post: "Ffs," followed by laughing face emojis.

Bowen also took it in his stride, commenting: "Hahahahahaaha."

Speaking after the match, Bowen said: "It's the best night of my life, for sure.

"Like I said before about missing the Sevilla game, when I was there but I wasn’t there if that makes sense, to do it again tonight away from home, seeing the fans, seeing the way we got their crowd rocked, it was unbelievable."

Dani asked: "Are you a Daniel? I just want to confirm?"

"Yeah, I am," replied Danny.

He went on: "I was thinking about this the other day, actually. I was born a Danial

"Danial is my name, so in the eyes of God, I am a Danial. And it is D-A-N-I-A-L."
