Joe Fournier reckons KSI ought to have been disqualified from their boxing match for cheating during the fight, after he appeared to have been knocked out by an elbow to the face.

Last night (13 May) those of you whose eyes and ears weren't glued to Eurovision might have been otherwise occupied watching KSI and Fournier punch each other for entertainment.

It was billed as the 'toughest bout' of the 29-year-old YouTuber's career in the ring as Fournier was older and a more experienced boxer.

However, it was all over in the second round, as KSI knocked his opponent out and won the fight, but the way he won has caused no end of controversy.

Looking at the footage it appears as though the final blow that makes contact with Fournier's head comes from KSI's elbow and not his glove - which is really not how you're supposed to do things in boxing.

KSI's final blow against Fournier appeared to be an elbow to the face.

Fournier is pretty certain that an errant elbow is what did him in during the fight and he also reckons that his opponent's victory shouldn't have been allowed to stand.

In an interview after the boxing bout Fournier was adamant that KSI had struck him with the elbow and should have been disqualified for it.

He said: "I felt the elbow, I saw the punch go past my face and he hits me with an elbow. It was a right hand, right hand goes past and it hits me.

They have it all, it's gone viral, it's gone everywhere. Literally, I felt bone. I thought it was either a headbutt or an elbow, the fist was here, he missed with that."

"Of course you've got to run it back, he should be disqualified that should go down as a loss. You can't walk up to someone in boxing and elbow them. It's not Muay Thai, it's not MMA, it's boxing."

Fournier was KO'd by the blow but he thinks KSI should have been disqualified.

Quite a few viewers of the fight took to social media to vent some anger at KSI and claim he should have been disqualified, and Fournier has joined them.

One viewer said that 'KSI shouldn't take that win' and another agreed that 'elbow should be DQ tbf', someone else went a bit further and claimed the YouTuber 'should be banned from boxing', which sounds a bit much.

After the fight KSI challenged Tommy Fury, who was at the event and had a bit of a scrap with Love Island star Idris Virgo while there.

The YouTuber declared that Fury would be 'going to sleep within four rounds' if they ended up in the ring together.
