Logan Paul suffers serious injury at WWE Crown Jewel

Logan Paul has revealed he suffered a serious injury midway through his WWE Crown Jewel match against Tribal Chief Roman Reigns

Logan Paul has revealed that he suffered a serious injury midway through his WWE Crown Jewel match against Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

The YouTuber turned professional wrestler pulled out all the stops at the WWE Universal Championship on Saturday night (5 November), even pulling out his phone to record a video mid-fight while putting Reigns through a table, and enlisting the help of his younger brother Jake.

Unfortunately for Logan, his flashy moves weren't enough to take down Reigns, who claimed victory on the night.

After the event wrapped, Logan took to social media to tell fans he had suffered a pretty serious injury during the fight.

Sharing a photo of himself lying on the trainer's table with an ice pack around his knee, he wrote: "Torn meniscus, MCL & potentially ACL. Happened halfway through the match. Keep y’all updated."

If Logan does wind up with a torn ACL it could mean the end of his WWE career for a while, with a typical recovery time of six to nine months.

You have to give it to Logan. His defeat is a whole lot more respectable if he was fighting on an injured knee.

It was a fairly even fight from the get-go, but Logan tried to get the advantage with a few surprises.

For one thing, he pulled his phone out and shot a video mid-match of him jumping off the top rope and crashing Roman Reigns through the commentary desk - a video which he promised would go viral later.

"Sauddiii, this is what you wanted, you're going viral Romi!," Logan yelled.

Soon, the Usos showed up and started taking down Logan's entourage, which meant it was time for Logan to break out the big guns.

Logan's little brother Jake strutted onto the scene not a moment later, swiftly taking out the Usos.

Jake, who has been focused on his boxing career, had been teasing a crossover to pro wrestling for a while, so WWE fans were thrilled when he finally showed face.

But from there, it was all downhill for Logan.

While Logan was distracted trying to fight the Usos off his brother, Roman Reigns tackled him with a Superman Punch.

The fight ended when Roman Reigns defeated Logan with a thunderous Spear, extending his two-year reign as the undefeated champ.

"I don't ever want to see him here again," Roman roared after the match ended.
