What Is Molly McCann's Net Worth In 2022?

What Is Molly McCann's Net Worth In 2022?

Meatball Molly has made her mark in the UFC.

Molly McCann - aka ‘Meatball Molly’ - has become one of the fastest rising stars of the Ultimate Fighting Championship since making her debut in 2018.

The 32 year old began her sports journey early, taking part in karate, kickboxing, and Thai boxing as a child, before starting boxing around the age of 12 and beginning her MMA training in 2013.

The sports star earned the nickname ‘meatball molly’ early in her career when she worked in a Subway to support herself while her career took off. But, luckily for Molly, she no longer has to make sandwiches for a living as her fighting career has earned her quite a bit of cash…

What is Meatball Molly’s net worth?

As of 2020, Meatball Molly has an estimated net worth of around $1million (£830,000), according to reports. This is made up of both her fight earnings and sponsorship deals.

She began her career with a degree in sports development and physical education from Liverpool John Moores University and began her MMA training shortly after. She began competing in the regional circuit and gained a record of 7-1 before signing with UFC. She made her UFC fighting debut in 2018. In total, Molly has taken part in 16 professional fights, scoring 12 wins and 4 losses.

Molly currently competes in the flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is training for her upcoming match against Hannah Goldy.

The star is close friends with fellow MMA fighter Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett, with the pair both training together at the Next Generation MMA gym in Liverpool. Speaking about their friendship, Molly said: “You’ll never meet another Patrick Pimblett or Molly McCann. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a girl and he’s a boy, but we push each other to be better versions of ourselves and don’t envy each other’s success.

“If he gets a big sponsorship then it’s: ‘Go on, lad, well done.’ If I get more airtime he’ll say: ‘Go on, Moll, it’s right.’ I have not one ounce of doubt in Patrick Pimblett’s ability to be the best in the world. Together, we’ll change the game.”

The sports star lives in her hometown of Liverpool, having grown up in the Norris Green area with her two sisters.
