Molly McCann - aka ‘Meatball Molly’ - has become one of the fastest rising stars of the Ultimate Fighting Championship since making her debut in 2018.

The 32 year old began her sports journey early, taking part in karate, kickboxing, and Thai boxing as a child, before starting boxing around the age of 12 and beginning her MMA training in 2013.

She began her career with a degree in sports development and physical education from Liverpool John Moores University and began her MMA training shortly after. She began competing in the regional circuit and gained a record of 7-1 before signing with UFC. She made her UFC fighting debut in 2018. In total, Molly has taken part in 16 professional fights, scoring 12 wins and 4 losses.

Molly currently competes in the flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is training for her upcoming match against Hannah Goldy.

The star is close friends with fellow MMA fighter Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett, with the pair both training together at the Next Generation MMA gym in Liverpool. The sports star lives in her hometown of Liverpool, having grown up in the Norris Green area with her two sisters.
