Sony's PlayStation Network is back up and running after a worldwide outage.
Customers trying to use core multiplayer functions found themselves unable to access the network, meaning that they can't play games or use other functions of the PSN.
This was confirmed by the official PSN site, who said that issues are affecting the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita platforms.

According to Digital Trends, the problem has been rectified and users have been able to log in and play their favourite games.
