For some unknown reason, there are lots of people who are obsessed with the idea of getting intimate in the weirdest of places.
While we're living in an increasingly sex positive society, there are plenty of folks who are perhaps a little too liberal when it comes to over-sharing what they get up to in the bedroom.
And perhaps the strangest part of that is that it's not always happening in the bedroom, with many enjoying a little loving in their cars, out at festivals or even in airplane bathrooms.
When it comes to joining societies, the mile high club is probably one of the hardest to get into, since it involves sleeping with someone on a plane, which can be very tricky unless you have access to your own private jet.

Bizarrely, there are lots of people who are apparently turned on by small spaces which have a strong scent of ammonia and urine, since the small bathroom is the only place where you can probably enjoy some privacy and cause a little turbulence of your own.

But now flight attendant Grace Hampson, who shares travel related content with nearly 50,000 followers on her TikTok account, has shared the reality of sex in the sky.
Speaking to Sky News, she said: "People trying to join the mile high club aren't a total myth but... it doesn't happen often like people think. Increased security and regular cabin patrolling make it near on impossible."
So, unless you do have access to your own plane or you're on a flight that just so happens to be empty, it's going to be incredibly hard to pull this off (if you'll pardon the pun). Besides, there can't be too many positions available to you in a tiny bathroom.
That being said, there are some folks who pay for their own beds on long-haul flights, so I guess those people who are willing to splash the cash might be in a better position (literally) to hit some heights.
That's not the only thing that flight attendants have revealed about life working on planes however, as it seems as if they all have a code word in case they think you're cute, while there's also some more serious code words that you almost certainly won't want to hear while setting off.
Although there have been an alarming number of crashes and accidents recently, Grace maintains that travelling by air is still one of the safest forms of travel, suggesting that she's never had any issues as both a passenger and while working.
She added: "Aviation continues to be one of the safest forms of travel. Even before I was flying for a job, my dad was a pilot and I travelled with him a lot. In total, I've had 36 years (both as a passenger and a flight attendant) without so much as a near-miss."
