A US airline has announced its launching child-free flights for ‘Do Not Disturb’ adults-only vacations.
JetBlue has teamed up with Virgin Voyages to launch a unique vacation experience, where everything from boarding to basking on a cruise is completely kid-free.
The Do Not Disturb travel package pairs child-free flights from JetBlue with a Virgin Voyages cruise that is strictly for grown-ups.
The travel package kicks off with a flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Fort Lauderdale International Airport in Florida, which is guaranteed child-free.

Guests will then depart from Miami on a four-night adults-only trip on Virgin Voyage’s newest vessel, the Brilliant Lady.
The itinerary for the four-trip voyage includes stops at Key West as well as the exclusive Virgin Voyages Beach Club in Bimini, the Bahamas.

In a press release, the companies said guests will be able to enjoy ‘turquoise waters, swaying palms and coastal chic vibes [that] won’t be interrupted by cannonball contests or calls of ‘Marco Polo’.’
The trip also comes with some extra perks, including an ‘in-flight toast’ to get your holiday off to a great start, a mystery welcome gift, and a private welcome party ready to greet you when you board the Brilliant Lady.
The package will set you back $2,750 for two guests, including taxes and fees, but if you fancy signing up, then you’ll need to be quick as there are only 60 cabins available on the Do Not Disturb package.
For your money, you’ll get the round-trip flights for two, as well as the cruise, gratuities, airport transfer costs and a $100 bar tab for your cabin.
A limited number of guests - on a first-come, first-served basis, will also get access to JetBlue’s first BlueHouse lounge at JFK.
The Do Not Disturb package is currently only available for one trip - from 4-8 March 2027 - and bookings open on Wednesday (21 October).
For now, the package only covers sailing, but in an interview with Travel + Leisure, Jamie Perry, the president of Paisly, which supports JetBlue Vacations, said it could be extended.
“If this is as successful as we hope it will be, then there are certainly opportunities for us to extend it with hotels included, to extend it out to other cities of origin beyond New York,” he said.
A study found most people want child-free flights

And it certainly seems as though it could be popular.
A 2023 survey carried out by PhotoAiD, asked 1,000 US adults their thoughts on child-free flights and a whopping eight out of 10 (82 percent) said they wanted adult-only flights, and 64 percent said they’d happily pay a premium of between 10 and 30 percent to make it happen.
The study also found that in general, the longer the flight the more passengers would be willing to pay a higher premium.
The vast majority (89 percent) of those who did want child-free flights said they were still in favour of the concept even if it led to more CO2 emissions.
Meanwhile, 69 percent of respondents supported child-free seating areas as a compromise.
