Rachel Kerr has reportedly been found safe in Morocco five days after her family members raised the alarm.

The Scottish-born travel influencer had been holidaying in the coastal city of Agadir when she was reported missing, after friends were unable to get in contact with her for numerous days.

However, a new update shared by local media has revealed that the 31-year-old had voluntarily left her hotel and had since been located at another apartment in the city.

The update, which was issued by the Agadir Security Authority, said that Kerr had not been 'subjected to any violence or threats to her physical safety' and was also in contact with her brother, who entered the city on 22 April.

An update from The Sun adds that Kerr is keen to 'continue her vacation' despite initial concerns over her welfare.

However, the publication has also since reported that a family member rubbished these claims and shared a social media post insisting she remains unaccounted for.

Despite reports claiming the content creator has been tracked down, her relative Peter Kerr is said to have shared a post online saying that this is not the case.

"She hasn’t been found and this is fake news," Peter reportedly wrote.

Another man who claims to be a pal of Rachel's suggested the same thing in a comment left on social media.

"She hasn't been found this is false information that has been put out," Aaron Brown added. "She is still missing.

"She's my friend, these newspapers are putting out wrong information. Im in touch with family."
