Stephen Hawking once threw a party for time travellers and nobody showed up, and now it seems as if they might have headed to Disneyland instead.
Looking through old photos is something that we've all done and in a nostalgia-obsessed generation who are fed up with the way things are right now, it's no surprise that 30-year-old Josie Weaver wanted to have a look through her grandfather's photos of Disneyland from the 1960s.
Given how much things have changed over the past 60 years, it's easy to appreciate a time before social media and phones where people lived in the moment a little more, especially at the 'happiest place on Earth'.
Disney fans will certainly have enjoyed seeing Josie's photos but many others on the internet were more interested in one particular photo, which showed a man looking a little 'out of place' among the other park visitors.

There's no doubt that he looks like a rather modern gentleman with his sunglasses, muscle-fit t-shirt, haircut and watch, and Josie was quick to comment in her video that he looked like a time traveller.

In her viral TikTok video, Josie said: "That guy looks like he's a time traveler.
"He does not look like he's from the 60s. No, for real, he's so out of place.
"Guys, no, that guy is not from the sixties.
"Look, he has Ray Bans on. I'm kidding. But seriously, he looks crazy."
Now, I suppose the idea of time travelling is that you can go anywhere you want but maybe I'm just used to the old Doctor Who episodes where they'd go to a point in time that's culturally significant, with the Disneyland episodes clearly not making the cut.
However, there's also the case of wanting to visit the parks without wanting to pay a serious amount of money, and there's no denying that you wouldn't bat an eyelid if you passed a gentleman looking like this in 2026, so it does seem slightly peculiar that he was wearing this all the way back in the 1960s.
Speaking to People, Josie added: “That was so funny because the picture popped up and he was like front and centre. And it just looked like someone that we would see out and about now.”
"And he looked so different. To me, he looked so different to everyone around him, especially with his haircut — it was like faded on the side.”
If we swapped his leather satchel bag for a Uniqlo bag or rucksack, and gave him a vape, then I'd probably be convinced.
But the reality is probably that this was probably just someone else's dapper looking grandad enjoying a trip to Disneyland.
Going back in time certainly seems more appealing than going forward, especially considering the current state of the world, with other so-called time travellers often issuing some serious warnings to humanity about what we can expect in a few hundred years time.
This is always a safe bet, unless Bryan Johnson overhears it, since everyone who listens to the predictions about planet Earth in the distant future won't be alive to verify whether it actually comes true.
