'Time traveller' who visited year 4413 has chilling warning about fate of humanity
A man who claims to have travelled 1,400 years further than Busted says he's seen the horrifying end result of AI.
Leicester-born Lewis Walker claims to have got up to some government-sponsored temporal shenanigans back in the 1970s, but waited until 2018 before turning whistleblower.
He told all to YouTube channel Apex TV, following in the footsteps of dozens of other time travellers judging by their previous output.
He said: “They’re not going to like that I’m saying this. So be it.”

Walker’s story begins in 1977. As the first Star Wars film burst onto cinema screens and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours dominated the airwaves, Walker had apparently scored a position in the Ministry of Defence.
Speaking with his face blurred in case shady government operatives clock he’s spilled the beans, Walker said: “I worked there for a few years and eventually was granted clearance to some top-secret knowledge.”
For reasons not entirely clear, his superiors thought he’d be the ideal guinea pig to test their new time travel technology.
In 1977, mass-produced personal computers were just becoming popular with the launch of the Apple II, but the UK government were apparently pinging civil servants back and forth across time.
Walker said he was told: “There was about a 50 percent chance it would work. Otherwise, I could be lost in space and time for eternity or even become trapped inbetween dimensions.”
This sort of information would give most people pause, but Walker says a promised £250k pay packet sealed the deal for him.
That’s about £1.5 million in today’s money, according to the Bank of England, so maybe it was worth a punt after all.
He then says he was ferried via helicopter to a secret base at the bottom of the English Channel, where the UK government was apparently also working on mind-reading and teleportation.
Instead of finding a Delorean or a blue police box, the time machine was ‘this huge triangle-shaped device with wires sticking out of it in every direction’.
He said: “Of course I was nervous, but I had already signed the papers. I had to do this.”
He was told he was about to be thrust 600 years into the future, given a suit to ‘protect against radiation’, and plonked in the middle of the triangle.
Before he knew it, he was flung into the far future, unfortunately overshooting the intended target by 1,836 years.
He woke up with a blanket over him in a ‘futuristic hospital’ and was greeted by a robot female voice.
There were ‘no people in this hospital, only robots that looked somewhat like people’.
Leaving the hospital, he found himself ‘in this huge city’ where there were ‘cars flying over me and the streets were full of robots’.
A friendly fellow time traveller from the year 2028 then told him that it was 4413 and humans ‘no longer existed’, adding that ‘they had merged with technology long ago, and now only robots remained’.
I guess that’s one solution to AI stealing your job.
The robots were apparently ‘the nicest people I had ever talked to’.
Luckily, Walker was then taken to a time station, where the robots returned him safe and sound back to 1977.
