A 20-year-old has revealed how he surprised his parents with their dream house after working from the age of 12.

Adam Beales, a.k.a Adam B, is one of Ireland's most popular YouTubers. With more than three million subscribers, the now 22-year-old bought his parents their dream house in January 2020 thanks to the fruits of his labours on the platform.

However, as a result of the pandemic, the move had to be postponed.

As soon as regulations allowed, Beales blindfolded his parents and younger brother and revealed the surprise in a heartwarming video shared with fans.

Explaining that 'nearly all' of 'everything [he's] done in life' has been to 'make [his] parents proud,' the YouTuber acknowledged how he also couldn't have got to this stage without the platform or his followers.

He said: "YouTube for me has opened up so many doors. So many opportunities, and iIcould never in a million years expect it to enable me to help my family out so much.

"I'm in this position because of you people at home. You watch my videos, you like, you share, you support me in every way possible. And for that I want to say thank you, because without you literally none of this would be possible. None of it.

"This is just so special to me and yeah, I'm buying my mum and dad a new house!"

Explaining that his parents had been viewing houses for the past year because of 'wanting a change,' he noted one house 'really jumped out' at them.

Adam's plan consisted of blindfolding his parents and pretending to take them to his own house.

Fast-forward to 20 March 2020 and Adam was able to finally pick up the keys to the show home he purchased for his family.

However, the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions prevented Adam from being able to move his parents in.

After finally receiving a text from the council and government approving the move, the surprise was back on.

Despite his parents and brother's scepticism – Adam having become so successful on YouTube for pranking his family members – they finally put the blindfolds on.

The day finally came for Adam to reveal the surprise house to his parents and younger brother.

After guiding them into their new house, followers were shown the emotional reveal.

Adam's mum was left in tears, utterly speechless, his dad's mouth wide open and younger brother equally stunned.

"I know this house, we viewed it. Look, my heart rate has gone through the roof," his dad said.

His younger brother commented: "I keep feeling like I'm going to wake up in three minutes and be like 'Oh it's just a dream'."

Followers were equally as moved as me – having not made it to the end of the video without blubbering. One said: "I think it’s every child’s dream to provide for their parents. You clearly understood the assignment my guy! You’ve got me crying over here like I’m there with you guys great job!!!"
