Steve Greig is trying to make his own little impression on the world by adopting as many senior animals as possible - animals who would otherwise struggle to find a home.

For obvious reasons, people usually choose to adopt younger dogs.

Luckily, Steve has a large house. He says that every animal deserves a chance at happiness; the first time he went to adopt a dog, he purposely looked for the one who he thought had the least chance of being adopted.

He currently has ten dogs, a pig (called Bikini), two ducks, pigeons, cats and some chickens.

You can follow his story via his Instagram account which is absolutely brilliant.

Steve told The Chive: "You kind of know what you want out of life once you hit a certain age. These dogs know who they are, and it's easy to develop a relationship with a person or pet who knows who they are."
