Right, now that February's here we can all finally admit that the healthy New Year intentions never made us any happier anyway.
So with that in mind you can put down that salad, leaving yourself a spare hand for the latest ice cream vibe from McDonald's: the Maltesers McFlurry.

You may remember that it's previously been a fixture to the regularly-changing roster of McFlurries, which currently also features Oreo, Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Crunchie versions.
The Maltesers flavour involves 'soft dairy ice cream', 'mini Maltesers clusters' and 'malted chocolate sauce' - a threesome that's as solid as Harry, Ron and Hermione... or chips, cheese and gravy. It's an instant classic and we are so on board.
"Drift away in a swirl of soft dairy ice cream, mini Maltesers clusters and malted chocolate sauce," the website also reads, as if we needed any more tempting.

Naturally, people are already all over it:
McDonald's is known for embracing a whole spectrum of wonderful flavours for McFlurry inspiration - constantly mixing things up with the likes of Smarties, M&Ms, Yorkie, Creme Egg, Wispa, Rolo, Snickers and pretty much every other big name in the global confectionary world.

Recently the fast food chain also decided to revamp another staple of its menu - the Big Mac, the burger that's packed with two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onion, and enjoys hero status across the world.

Yup, deep-fried cheese will always be a double whammy in our eyes, and the golden mozzarella sticks are set to replace the breaded Camembert bites from the festive period. You'll be able to munch on them while you wait all of about two minutes for that Grand Big Mac and McFlurry. Winner.
