Graduate tears up upon learning she's qualified as barrister after grandparents remortgaged home to pay for degree

The TikTok video has been viewed more than seven million times, and will surely be the most heartwarming think you'll see today.

For anyone who has attended university or any other form of higher education, you'll know the amount of blood, sweat and tears required to achieve your goals.

The amount of endless nights in the library and the three emotional breakdowns that happen each week after you convince yourself you are going to fail.

And it is certainly understandable as going into higher education is a pretty expensive undertaking.

However, all that blood, sweat and tears must have been all worth it for Seren Lewis, who has told the story of how her grandparents remortgaged their home to help support her law qualification.

Seren, from Cardiff, shared an emotional clip to her TikTok (@serenlewis1) showing her opening her results while sitting next to her grandparents.

Seren explained how her grandparents, who had raised her from being a toddler, supported her during her studies.

The clip, which has been viewed more than seven million times on the popular video platform, shows Seren nervously open her results.

As she scrolls through the results, Seren realises she has passed every module, much to the trios delight.

Seren and her grandparents are in floods of tears, in what is a really sweet and heartwarming video.

In the caption to the video, Seren explained her situation and how it wouldn't have been possible to obtain her Bar - a barrister qualification - if it wasn't for her grandparents.

She wrote: "Passing the Bar and qualifying as a Barrister is my biggest accomplishment to date. However it would have never happened without my Grandparents who I can only be forever grateful for.

"Taking me in at 2 years old and retiring early to care for a toddler was the most selfless act anyone could have done for me."

Seren continued: "Bar school is extremely expensive and is still so inaccessible to the majority of people living in the UK.

The moment Seren found out she was a qualified barrister was truly wonderful.

"To be able to attend, they decided to remortgage their house that they had paid off so many years ago and without that, I would not be where I am today.

"So, as much as this achievement is down to my hard work and MANY late nights, I share this achievement with them."

Over 12,000 people have flocked to the comment section to congratulate Seren, with some in floods of tears themselves as a result of the emotional video.

"Congratulations!! You and your grandparents deserve the world," one person on TikTok wrote, while a second added: "Well that’s my morning cry out of the way."

Meanwhile, a third remarked: "They are so proud of you it warms my heart. Congrats."

Congratulations, Seren! You really don't get much more wholesome than that!
