Lad humiliated after discovering his face wash is actually his mum's feminine hygiene product
We've all made a few teenage errors – dodgy highlights, using toothpaste on spots, attempting to cut our own hair – the list is endless.
But one lad has probably topped the lot after he confessed to using his mum's feminine hygiene products as a face cleanser.

Andre, who goes by @andrearissol1 on TikTok, took to the video sharing platform where he made a mortifying confession.
He explained that when he was younger, as a result of struggling with his skin, he asked his mum and sister if he could use some of their skincare products.
While his sister said no, he explained that his mum didn't have anything suitable, and after failing to find anything that could work he ended up taking matters into his own hands.
Stumbling upon one of his mum's products, he decided to give it a try and was pretty impressed when his skin not only cleared up, but went super soft, too.
"When I was young I had really bad skin," Andre began. "Most days I felt really insecure and then I really got upset one day so I went for help.
"My mum tried to help but she didn't have anything. [...] In the night I snuck into her room to see what I could find."
Andre explained that he found the product – which he didn't realise was actually Femme Fresh – and used it for around two weeks.
"At the time, my face started to smoothen up and get really clear," he added.
"So I kept using it because I was like, it was working."
But things took an embarrassing turn when Andre's mum went looking for her Femme Fresh after experiencing some discomfort.
"One day, my mother had a problem down there," he continued.
After asking if any of the family had seen her Femme Fresh, Andre realised he had been using the product on his skin.
Finding the whole thing hilarious, Andre's family broke the news that Femme Fresh isn't intended to be used as a face cleanser.
"I was the laughing stock of the family for about forever until now," he continued.
And other TikTokers couldn't stop laughing either, with others sharing their own similar experiences. One person commented on the video: "My mum caught me using femme fresh spray as deodrant for my underarms as a kid... I smelt fresh though."
While another said: "I did this for like 3 years straight since i was in year 7 n no one told me and then my nan told me at 15."
