Lads cheat arcade machine and win 13,500 tickets

A group of mates from Argentina have gone viral for cheating an arcade game out of a whopping 13,500 tickets.

A group of mates from Argentina have gone viral for cheating an arcade game out of a whopping 13,500 tickets. Watch below:

The group of students were able to trick a basketball game by hitting 999 points in just a matter of seconds.

Their method was less of an elaborate scheme and more of an outright steal, as the 18-year-olds exchanged their 13,500 tickets for a large stuffed animal.

As shown in the clip above, the 18-year-olds frantically waved their hand up and down the basketball hoop, to simulate the ball going in.

This would happen simultaneously, while another shoots the balls through the net.

One of the students said: "We didn't know if it was going to work and it did!"

“We were on a trip with some friends, and it occurred to us to go to the video game place we saw.

“It was very expensive to play the basketball machine and it occurred to us to do this for a laugh. We won a total of 13,500 tickets and exchanged it for a large stuffed animal.”

Their antics have since gone viral on TikTok, racking up more than 9.1 million views – and many were quick to comment on the swindlers.

One user commented: "His girlfriend must be very happy with him."

"You can question my methods but not my results," joked another viewer.

One user who claims to have tried the method already wrote: "That's what I did, an alarm started sounding and in the end I didn't get any tickets."

Another person said: "I've been training my hand all my life for this."

"I would do it but I would be too embarrassed to be told off," wrote another user.

A similar scenario occurred earlier this year, where a man named Brian Burns was playing games at the Hollywood Bowl in Poole, Dorset.

He realised he could boost his score with a simple 'hack'.

The 39-year-old revealed that if you repeatedly pull and push the ticket in and out slightly from the ticket machine, the score shoots up.

In just 10 seconds, his score went from 205 to 260.

Brian's hack tricks the machine into thinking more tickets are being put in.

As the clip went viral, people weren't totally sold on the so-called 'trick'.

One person commented: "I mean the machine practically takes your fingers off so I can’t see it working."

Another said: "It either doesn’t work, doesn’t work on most machines or... they’re now about to fix it because everyone’s gonna be doing it."
