You've probably seen a video or two of a woman enjoying a delicious meal on social media, however, this 'mukbang' video has left viewers seriously creeped out.

For those who are unaware, a mukbang is a trend which involves online personalities eating huge amounts of food at once while speaking to viewers or a guest.

The word comes from a combination of the Korean words for 'eating' and broadcast'.

But this eight-second viral clip was first shared on X, showing a woman sitting in front of an assortment of seafood and cobs of corn.

Users on social media were left worried when she picked up what looked to be a lobster claw and put the whole thing in her mouth, swallowing it with just one bite.

Just another mukbang video... right? (X)

Speaking to the camera while dipping a large claw of a lobster in sauce, she says: "Y'all, this about to get messy but it's gon' be worth it," before inhaling the entire claw like it's a noodle.

After a single chew, she looks back at the camera and adds: "Nah, this hit a little different."

The caption reveals that the video was indeed AI-generated, if the incorrect subtitles that accompany the video didn't give it away.

In case you missed that though, her pot of sauce seems to come out of the claw she's holding, which doesn't tend to happen much with food.

And that's not the only one as another video has been doing the rounds of what looks to be the same woman chowing down on a chicken drumstick - bone and all.

Despite these small details, it's still a scary realisation of how far AI has come, as everything else looks pretty legitimate.

New video generation models have started to make waves across modern technology, with users more confused that ever on what's real and what's fake.

In one instance, social media users were left scratching their heads, with a video of two girls involved in a street interview turning heads in particular.

It had a similar layout to the infamous 'Hawk Tuah' video, and upon first viewing, you'd be forgiven for thinking that we were getting another (slightly unbearable) viral moment, before the girls replied with nonsense words, confirming that it was AI-generated.

But this hasn't been the end of the creepiness, with a video of a woman whispering into a camera also doing the rounds online.

But where does the Artificial Intelligence madness end?

It's fair to say that viewers have become even more worried by the capabilities of AI, with one commenting below the seafood mukbang clip: "'AI gonna be crazy in a few years' bro this looks real now," with crying emojis.

Someone else wrote: "Nothing is real," while a third said: "This is fascinating but also a bit unsettling. Really makes you wonder where the line between real and AI content will be in a year from now."

Another user joked: "What do you mean? She clearly inhaled that entire crab leg like a normal human."

A fifth added: "She can also spawn and despawn the cup of sauce at will."

It may not be time to panic yet, but it's worth fact-checking every video you come across online.
