Lad praised after explaining why his right arm is so much bigger than his left

He's been flooded with compliments and praise

A gym goer has been praised after explaining why his right arm is much bigger than his left.

Jackson Schop, from the US, regularly shares fitness updates on social media where he has tens of thousands of followers.

Jackson - who insists he ‘just works out’ and is ‘not inspirational’ - posts clips showing off his efforts in the gym, which attract thousands of comments due, in part, to the fact his left arm is significantly thinner than his right.

However, after explaining why this was the case, Jackson was flooded with praise, with one person commenting: “Huge respect to this guy for keeping up the grind and taking jokes.”

Someone else wrote: “Keep going bro. That’s f awesome to see you battle forward.”

A third said: “Amazing bro. The fact you are able to go past this and still do things where other people stopped miles ago is inspiring.”

Another person added: “Love your motivation to keep on going. Sad how people like you remain under the radar.”

Jackson has previously explained that he was involved in a serious snowmobile accident almost two years ago, and it left one of his arms paralysed.

Sharing what happened in a comment, he wrote: “Hey guys! Just wanted to explain what happened. I was involved in a snowmobile accident in January 2022 causing paralysis of my left arm. I love all the joke comments so don’t get offended for me. Sincerely, Your Roblox Avatar.”

Jackson has since shared the goal he set himself after being discharged from hospital.

He revealed: “Once I got out of the hospital, I gave myself a goal: get in the best shape of my life, regardless of my paralysed arm. I can officially say I accomplished my goal.”

Opening up about how he grew to accept his paralysed arm following the accident, he said: “Part of me doesn’t really know how I accepted it. I would say for the most part, I just realised there’s nothing I can do about it. So why focus on what I can’t control? Instead, I focus on what I can control and by doing this it allows me to excel in other areas of my life, like for example, fitness - I’m in the best shape of my life.

“But if I were to focus on my paralysed arm, complain and be a victim to my injury, I would not be where I am today.”
