Man spends £28 on a single sandwich in Subway ordering every ingredient on the menu

A man spent £28 on a sub from Subway after ordering every ingredient on the menu.

A man from Scotland managed to spend £28 on a single sandwich in Subway after loading it with every ingredient on the menu. Take a look at exactly what he had on his sarnie:

Darren Dowling - who wowed contestants and show bosses with his very uniquely Scottish three-course on Come Dine With Me in 2021 - has undertook different food investigations on social media in the last week.

His latest one involved the man better known as Dazza going to Subway and spending far too much on a sandwich.

The sandwich was a rather expensive one.

The total cost of the mammoth sandwich was £27.99 - but what exactly did Dazza add to get the sub to that price.

He asked the Subway worker to load his sub with every type of meat available, while also asking for every single salad and sauce to be added - sounds like quite the mix.

This meant that after the initial chicken strips were added, an egg, ham, bacon, chicken tikka, salami, pepperoni, steak and cheese and chicken nachos were all added, too.

But Darren wasn't done there, as he also added hash browns and crispy onions to the mix.

Dazza spoke to the Scottish Sun about his now famous sandwich and whether it actually tasted nice with all that food loaded on it.

He said: "I know it probably should have been rotten.

"After all, it was just a fun experiment to see if I could actually get all of these toppings on one sub.

"But it was actually really good to be honest.

"I like every single one of the toppings and although it was weird to have them together, I’m here for it.

"It’s obviously a lot more filling than a normal Subway but if you’re feeling hungry, I’d recommend people try it at least once.

Despite all its filling, Darren actually enjoyed the sandwich.

"It’s the culinary experience you never knew you needed but shouldn’t go without.

"If Subway wants to start calling it The Dazza I’d have no complaints."

Darren's Subway experiment comes after he did food experiments in Both McDonald's and Burger King.

There wasn't so much food with the McDonald's experiment though, as he placed a Big Mac order but removed the cheese, burger, patty and the bun.

The delivery driver was left rather confused as he handed over a very light bag to the social media star.

With Burger King, Darren went to the other extreme by ordering a huge burger containing eight patties.
