Woman Who Giggled During 'Risky' Sex With Boyfriend Asks If It's Normal

Sex can be funny... who knew, eh?

We all know that laughter is the best medicine, don't we? It has the ability to diffuse the most awkward of moments - even in the bedroom.

Or bathroom if your sex life is anything like this Reddit user who posted to see whether it was ok to let out a little giggle when you're getting down and dirty.

Whether you accidentally bang your head, fall over or get stuck in a strange position - how can you possibly keep a straight face and get on with it?

Some people - probably those watching a little too much porn - don't see things the same way and can get angry or offended by a little light-heartedness.

This person's boyfriend might be one of those and it's made his girlfriend feel really bad. So bad in fact that she's resorted to asking strangers on the internet whether it's ok.

Taking to the Reddit post, she wrote: "We decided to have sex in the bathroom. He sat on the toilet and I climbed on top, but as I was climbing I thought it was a bit funny seeing him naked on the toilet (childish I know). I let out a small giggle, both from my POV and from nervousness trying to balance and hover over him without tipping over.

"I apologized after shooting a quick smile and a giggle and composed myself. He was unhappy though, and got really snappy and angry with me."

She went on to add: "I don't think having a small giggle should result in something like this? I could be wrong. This isn't the first time it's happened, I RARELY will giggle but I'll do so if I'm very very nervous.

"I don't get nervous having sex with him, but it's more like the position sometimes feels risky to me so I'll giggle if I can't get my balance right away."

In response, one Reddit user wrote: "Honestly I don't think I'd want to ever have sex that didn't have some kind of lighthearted laughter at some point. Dude needs a sense of humour and to watch less porn."

Another added: "Yeah, light hearted giggle, before, during, and after sex can lighten up the mood. Just saying, dude needs to stop watching too much porn."

A third commented: "Laughing is normal during sex! You did nothing wrong. Dude needs to lighten up. Do not apologize for this."

Someone else told her: "My boyfriend and I rarely have a session where we DON'T giggle just a little bit at something funny that happens, a reaction (usually one of mine) or a noise or something.

"Laughter happens and if your bf is that angry about something that is actually funny (I'd laugh too if my bf was naked on the toilet and ready to get it on, it's funny and sweet) just let the trash take itself out. He obviously can't handle anything real."

Putting it very bluntly, another said: "Bro we live on a floating rock in space, I agree with the other folks here, your bf needs to live a little."

Oh... and, I couldn't find one comment that said otherwise. Laugh away, shaggers.
