American Lists 10 Worst Places To Live In England And People Are Not Happy

One place listed has been described by a resident living there as 'literally hell on Earth' - ouch

An American man has ruffled some feathers after posting a video of the 10 'worst places to live in England'. Here are the lucky final three:

The unnamed fella does explain that the list has been put together on his 'personal opinion' and 'formed out of my own careful research' with input from friends and acquaintances that have 'first hand' information.

I think we can all agree that most places have a 'bad' area or somewhere that's a little rough around the edges but this bloke explicitly lists places he describes as being 'terrible'.

He also explained how cultures in certain places 'may shock you' while you're 'still dazed in disbelief about the obnoxious attitude of some people'.

Alright mate.

First up is number 10: Middlesbrough, apparently the 'worst place to be a girl in the country'.

With the 'fourth highest unemployment rate in the country' yes, it might have its drawbacks but the guy goes on to say that 'It's idleness shoots up the violence rates.'

Next up is Oldham which is even described as one of the 'worst places in the UK', not even England.

According to the video's creator, a resident said that Oldham looks as though the government has been performing 'nuclear testing in the area'. That's not very nice.

In at number eight is Stevenage followed by Blackpool at number seven which was dubbed 'the poverty kingdom'.

The man seems to have spoken to another 'resident' who says that if you go back a few streets you'll be met with 'deprivations, ghettos and the scummy pubs'.

In sixth position is Gravesend which is said to be 'living up to it's name'.

Coming in at fifth is Luton with 'the only thing going for it' being the M1 which 'provides a fast exit'.

Number four is Bradford which is situated in West Yorkshire and is thought to be a 'city of extremes' with violent crime, burglary, sexual crime and murder - all of which are above the national average.

Another resident apparently described the city as 'Hell on Earth'.

Rochdale (otherwise pronounced Rockdale) comes in at number three, with someone living there (yes, another resident) giving people a bit of advice: leave fast or stay forever.

In at number two is Hartlepool which is described as being 'economically deprived' with residents saying their health was worst than the national average.

The guy also noted that the town is also 20 percent less of professionals and administrative and managerial skills.

Anyone else understand how somewhere that doesn't have a population of middle class residents could be classed as a bad place to live? Hmm, me either.

Peterborough.

Last up is Peterborough with one resident describing the area as 'the biggest dump in England' and saying that the atmosphere there makes you feel 'isolated from the rest of the world'.

Up to now the video has received over 60,000 views with nearly 500 likes and almost 400 dislikes.

Taking to social media, one person described the list as 'a bit rude' while another added: "You're welcome to leave at any point."

Others agreed with the guy, while some made more suggestions such as: "Thank f*** he didn't visit Salford."
