One thing you should always remember is that even the day after a drinking session you can find that you're still over the limit for drink-driving. While you might feel fine (albeit a bit dusty), you might still be carrying a bunch of that alcohol you knocked back the night before and that'll show up on virtually all RBTs.
But you can imagine the surprise of the cops who pulled over Scott in Australia and made him do a quick breath test.

The driver told the police that he had been drinking 16 hours before he was caught. Shockingly, he blew 0.169, which is nearly three and a half times over the legal alcohol limit for a person with a full licence.
That was just the start of the man's problems considering that he's a P-plater - which has a zero-alcohol limit.
Asking how he managed to blow such a high reading more than half a day after his session had ended, the cops were probably not prepared for his answer. Scott explains he had 42 beers and then when that didn't quench his thirst, he moved onto scotch and a couple of cans of Wild Turkey bourbon.
But the story is even better in his own words.

He says: "I had a few at the pub, went home and watched two games of footy, [drank] scotch, you know, like everyone does on their day off."
Hey, don't loop everyone in with your pub stamina as I'm sure most people would find themselves on the floor or in a hospital if they managed to consume that amount in such a short period of time.
Senior Constable Gilmore, who looks unsurprisingly shocked by the admission, gets out a calculator to work out how many standard drinks that would be: 96.9.
Scott must have missed the teaching session where they explain that the average male can do two drinks in the first hour and one every hour after that. Clearly, he's no average male.

Constable Gilmore says: "I've been doing this job for a while, I have never heard of anyone drinking this much and still breathing... most people would be dead."
A guideline from Alcohol Think Again: "For healthy men and women, drinking no more than four standard drinks on a single occasion reduces the risk of alcohol-related injury arising from that occasion."
Well, Scott has well and truly said 'fuck you' to that guideline.
